Rocky Rakovic joins Time Out as Head of Content North America

Rakovic joins from Inked Magazine, where he was the Editor-in-Chief for seven years

New York, NY  – October 12, 2017 — Time Out, the leading global media and entertainment brand that inspires and enables people to make the most of the city, today announces Rocky Rakovic as the new Head of Content, Time Out North America. Rocky will lead Time Out’s content organization in the region, reporting into Global Editor-in-Chief Joel Meares who previously held the role.

Rocky’s remit will cover Time Out North America’s fast-growing footprint, managing content across websites in over 30 cities and free print magazines in New York (including Time Out New York Kids), Chicago, L.A., Miami, Austin, San Francisco and Philadelphia, alongside their supporting social media channels.

Rocky’s extensive editorial experience spans nearly two decades across lifestyle, online, print and regional media. He joins from Inked Magazine, where he was the Editor-in-Chief for seven years, responsible for overseeing all department editors and the publication’s social media functions for the brand’s distinct take on culture, style, and art. He also spent ten years as an editor of Playboy Magazine.
