Scripps launches a free iOS app for company’s new digital food brand Genius Kitchen

Today, Scripps announced its new free iOS app, Genius Kitchen. The app is a part of the launch of its new digital food brand Genius Kitchen geared toward younger audiences who are food obsessed. The app includes:

  • 10+ original shows in a seamless, snackable format starring young food talent like Australian chef Dan Churchill and comedian Courtney Rada
  • An interactive recipe feature where you can be watching content and mid-stream, get recipes sent to your device of choice
  • A “watch now” feature that automatically plays original shows from the programming slate
  • A recipe saver function, where you can see all your favorite recipes in one centralized place, together with a cooking video and a link to cooking instructions
