CHICAGO, Ill. – March 10, 2017 — Havas Chicago promotes from within the agency and appoints two new Village leaders. Tatia Torrey, president and chief client officer of Havas Creative, and Lisa Evia, president of Havas Media – AdWeek’s 2016 Media Agency of the Year winner – will together lead the Havas Chicago Village.

Tatia Torrey is the company’s current chief client officer and will retain that title as she takes on more operational responsibility. She will continue to ensure the agency’s book of business is happy and healthy while contributing to overall growth. Simultaneously, she’s been managing the growth of The Annex, an agency powered by Havas, and has expanded its capabilities to Atlanta with the growth of the Coca Cola business. Tatia’s also a recent recipient of the She Runs It (formerly AWNY) Working Mother of the Year award.

She will work closely with Lisa Evia, who has been promoted from managing director of Havas Chicago Creative to president of Havas Media. As a leader on the Chicago Village’s most integrated portfolio of great American brands, Lisa manages multiple cross-functional teams made up of creative and media specialists. Her deep understanding of the digital landscape made this move a clear, easy next step.

“Tatia and Lisa are both strong leaders and together make a powerful team that will take this agency to new levels,” said Paul Marobella, chief executive officer of Havas Chicago Group. “We’ve built a modern marketing and creative agency with a healthy collection of very cool and innovative offerings. They’re going to help us continue to integrate the Village and bring better, more creative and media opportunities to our clients.”

Over the past three years, Havas Chicago has aggressively expanded new and existing relationships and looks to its new presidents to build on those achievements. Tatia and Lisa will work together to amplify the agency’s Village model, which uses integrated data to drive real-time creativity. Equally compelling is its creation of the first ever agency for Millennials by Millennials, The Annex and its strong Latino agency – giving Havas Chicago and its clients creative edge.

“I’m excited to add Lisa to the Havas Media executive team and lead the business in the Chicago Village,” says Colin Kinsella, chief operating officer of Havas Media. “She’s a smart, powerful business manager that has proven she deeply understands the Village approach. She’ll be collaborative with Chicago’s executive team and will give Media its voice in the Chicago market.”

Lisa will report directly to Colin, and will work very closely with Tatia, Paul and Jason Peterson, chief creative officer of North America, to ensure Village client growth and new business wins.
