Every year TNM complies a list of Black Friday specials that digital publishing professionals might be interested in. Some vendors who sell into the industry are free to contact me to have their own specials listed here. But, let’s be honest, the real reason for the annual story is that it makes great clickbait. Any headline with “Black Friday” is bound to get a few clicks, right?

Los Angeles Times: 75% off for a 1 year subscription
The New York Times: not really BF, but a holiday special – 50% off gift subscriptions.
Chicago Tribune: 50% off a 1 year subscription
Texture: Receive a $40 Amazon.com gift care when you buy a 6 month Texture Premium subscription for $60
Hearst Magazines: All magazines just $5 for an annual subscription
MIT Sloan Management Review: Use code BLACKFRIDAY to get 30% off a subscription
Newspapers.com: Save $20 on a subscription

AppMachine: One month free, white label for free
Adobe: 20% off Creative Cloud for individuals and students, now through the 25th.
GoDaddy: Up to 50% off web hosting, 30% off email marketing, etc.
Best Buy: tons of stuff, of course, but here are a few specials…

Google: Google Home price cut to $99. You can find it through Google, or other retailers such as Best Buy.
MagLoft: a 60% discount for a yearly subscription bringing it down from $1188 USD to just $499 USD and will continue every year as long as kept active.
Paragon Software Group: deals on macOS and PC hard disk management software now through Monday, November 28th, at up to 50% off
Microsoft: Deals on the Surface book $250 off) and the Surface Pro 4 ($200 off)
New Egg: Like other electronics dealers, check out what they are offering on their extensive specials page.
Dell: Pretty much offering 10 to 15% off select laptops, a bit more off desktops
Office Depot: check your local newspaper insert but count on some I’ve seen include $400 off an HP 15.6″ laptop, as well as other HP electronics, $120 off a Linksys Max-Stream router, savings off various Brother printers
