Kasper most recently served as SVP Customer Strategy at Macy’s, where she led the department store chain’s customer acquisition and retention strategies

NEW YORK, NY – August 4, 2016 — MediaLink, the leading strategic advisory firm serving companies at the convergence of media, marketing, technology and entertainment, announced today that Jennifer Kasper has joined the company as Senior Vice President, bringing with her more than 15 years experience in retail marketing, digital media strategy and brand management.

“Jennifer has been at the forefront of digital innovation in retail during an extraordinarily transformational time and she is now bringing that wealth of experience to MediaLink’s client engagements,” said Michael E. Kassan, Chairman and CEO, MediaLink. “She has forged new paths in everything from emerging mobile payment solutions to location-based marketing and cross-platform relationship building. Her experience solving challenges and exploring related opportunities will strengthen our ability to serve clients operating in these areas.”

Kasper comes to MediaLink after having most recently served as SVP Customer Strategy at Macy’s, where she led the department store chain’s customer acquisition and retention strategies and grew the lifetime customer value of its 40 million-plus household customers. Partnering with American Express, Kasper led Macy’s involvement in the launch of Plenti, the country’s first coalition rewards program, and also spearheaded a company-wide initiative to target and acquire millennial and multicultural customers.

In her new role, Kasper will leverage her 15 years at Macy’s to partner with MediaLink’s retailers and e-commerce companies to explore how mobile and innovation at point of sale has influenced their go-to-market strategies and customer journey mapping.

“Organizations across the board are facing challenging transitions,” said Wenda Harris Millard, President and COO, MediaLink. ”Jennifer has had a front row seat for a one such transformation, being instrumental in helping Macy’s reposition itself as a forward-thinking brand. She has the necessary perspective to help our partners navigate similar journeys.”

“I understand the value that MediaLink brings to the table in strategy and education around digital innovation,” said Kasper. “I’m thrilled to join the team and play a part in guiding our partners through the maze of the future.”
