Valassis launches its 1,000th Total Loyalty Solutions mobile app for small businesses
LIVONIA, Mich. – June 2, 2016 — Valassis, a leader in intelligent media delivery, announced today the launch of the 1,000th Total Loyalty Solutions (TLS) mobile app for small and medium businesses (SMB). TLS is a product of Clipper Magazine, a wholly owned subsidiary of Valassis.
TLS introduced its first app, aimed at boosting SMB businesses, in 2014. Today, TLS-built apps have been downloaded more than 600,000 times, generating over $450,000 in online orders and 350,000 punches via loyalty punch card programs. Local business owners in the restaurant, entertainment, retail and beauty industries, see the value in crafting mobile marketing campaigns targeting consumers wherever they are with captivating content delivered via their mobile device.
“We are excited to reward our loyal customers and give them another reason to come back via our new mobile app,” said Al Mansur, founder and owner of Al’s Pizza with multiple locations throughout Florida and whose business represents the 1,000th TLS mobile app. “This cost-effective app has allowed us to enter the mobile marketing space as an independent pizzeria. The Total Loyalty Team provides us the knowledge and skills we need to compete in this space and drive our business forward.”
The TLS app is affordably priced and includes one-on-one coaching to help SMB owners grow their business, engage consumers and create successful marketing strategies. The TLS content management system (CMS) readily allows merchants to promote offers, update content, manage their specials and send push notifications.
“This milestone demonstrates the power of mobile marketing for SMBs, also complementing customer acquisition campaigns for many,” said Steve Hauber, president, Valassis Local Solutions. “This innovative approach combines robust loyalty programs with mobile apps, builds strong relationships with consumers, instills a sense of loyalty, and ultimately, impacts business results.”
Merchants utilize these easy-to-use apps to build customer loyalty and target on-the-go consumers with content to drive revenue in real time. These custom apps feature reward programs, mobile coupons and online ordering. Mobile apps are playing a larger role in marketing as users spend more time on their mobile devices, and with a TLS-built app, local businesses can tap into this growing trend.
Hataya Math, owner of Ocean Thai Cuisine in San Diego, attests to the success of its TLS-built app. “Our restaurant’s push notifications bring customers through our doors,” Math said. “Then our app’s punch card brings customers back for additional visits. In fact, we’ve had over 1,000 visits generated by the app in just a few months.”
