Barry Fleming named Vice President, Digital Director of MPA – The Association of Magazine Media
Fleming joins MPA from Geometry Global where he was Director, Performance Analytics and worked with clients such as Novartis, Liberty Mutual and Target
New York, NY – May 31, 2016 – Barry Fleming has been named Vice President, Digital Director of MPA – The Association of Magazine Media, it was announced today by Linda Thomas Brooks, MPA president and CEO. Fleming’s appointment is effective immediately.
Fleming has an extensive technology background and is skilled in business development, strategic planning, research and analytics. He joins MPA from Geometry Global (WPP) where he was Director, Performance Analytics and worked with clients such as Novartis, Campbell’s Soup Company, Liberty Mutual and Target. Prior to that, he was Consulting Director, Acceleration (WPP) where clients included Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Time Warner Cable. In addition to vast agency work, earlier in his career he was a web research analyst for Nielsen. Fleming was a U.S. Army Mainframe Computer Systems Technician and holds a certificate in Web Design & Development from Boston University.
In his new role with MPA, Fleming’s responsibilities will be both inward and outward facing as he is in charge of the organization’s website, database and marketing systems, as well as the liaison for the MPA Digital Committee and education and event development, including all MPA digital seminars and conferences. Fleming reports to Nancy Telliho, senior vice president, marketing and digital initiatives.
