Elaine D’Farley named editor-in- chief of Spafinder Wellness 365

D’Farley was previously Beauty Director at Condé Nast’s Self magazine, and before that Beauty and Fashion Director
at Cosmopolitan

Miami, Florida –– Spafinder Wellness, Inc., the leading resource for feeling good and living well all year round, today announced Elaine D’Farley has been appointed editor-in-chief of Spafinder Wellness 365. She will also serve as editorial director of Spafinder.com, and the company will unveil a fully redesigned website in 2016. The new site will be localized and personalized for users.

D’Farley has spearheaded redesigns of magazines as varied as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which reaches an estimated 50 million adults and is published in more than 20 countries, to Cosmopolitan to SELF. She also developed brand extensions for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, including five calendars and the television special.

She was the beauty director at SELF for 12 years, and as the fashion and beauty director of Cosmopolitan, oversaw a new direction for the fashion and beauty editorial pages. Most recently she has been consulting with multiple brands on lifestyle and beauty trends.

D’Farley has appeared as an expert on Entertainment Tonight, The Today Show, CNN, Oprah and more. She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York and is passionate about identifying trends and developing creative ways to communicate with the vast audience of people looking for ways to live healthy, happy lives.
