Tea Journey starts 60-day Kickstarter campaign to fund magazine start-up

Veteran magazine editor and publisher Dan Bolton begins his fundraising effort to launch a new publciation for the world tea industry

WINNIPEG, Manitoba – April 4, 2016Tea Journey magazine, a new mobile publication heralded as “one of the greatest new developments in tea journalism,” is readying its inaugural issue through a 60-day Kickstarter campaign launched today.

Pledges start as little as $2 USD. Charter subscribers donating $30 or more receive an exquisite tea of their choice. Tea Journey is offering exciting rewards for pledges starting over $80 – ranging from a $7,000 tour of Nepal to a tea and scotch tasting class in Montreal; tuition for training classes at the top-rated World Tea Academy; individualized tasting classes with acclaimed teachers, including Austin and Zhuping Hodge with Seven Cups in Tucson, Ariz.; as well as several private dinners with leading experts including Rishi Tea founder Joshua Kaiser in Milwaukee, Wisc. and in San Francisco with James Norwood Pratt, the revered author and authority on tea. Subscribers receive three 150-page issues and 12-months online access and will see their name listed in the inaugural issue.
