Susan Kaplow joins SheKnows Media as Chief Content Officer

NEW YORK, NY – February 3, 2016 — SheKnows Media, a leading women’s media company with 92.5 million unique visitors per month1 and a total reach of 256 million social media fans, today announced that Susan Kaplow, a digital editorial executive with more than 17 years of experience developing multi-platform programming for large media companies, has joined the Company’s executive team as Chief Content Officer.

Most recently, Kaplow served as the Executive Vice President of Development and Operations for Refinery29, where she was responsible for editorial development, talent development, and scaling content and traffic growth. Prior to Refinery29, Kaplow was the Vice President/General Manager of Life and Style at The Huffington Post, the Executive Director of Web Development atCondé Nast, as well as the Vice President of Content at Alloy Media + Marketing (now Defy Media).

At SheKnows Media, Kaplow will drive content strategy, spearheading editorial quality, intention and voice for both editorial and video content for all SheKnows Media sites, including SheKnows.com, BlogHer.com and STYLECASTER.com, as well as across existing and emerging engagement platforms.

In addition to overseeing the Company’s editorial strategy, she will lead efforts to build additional segments within the Company’s contributor model, Experts Among Us, already housing more than 21,000 curated influencers. Kaplow will report to Philippe GueltonChief Executive Officer, SheKnows Media.
