Google launches new AdWords iOS app into Apple App Store
The app helps monitor AdWords campaign performance like clicks, CTR and CPC, update bids and budgets, etc.
The best developer of iOS apps might well be Google, which I suppose is an odd thing to say, but it’s true. Google has 63 apps for the iPhone and 58 for the iPad (obviously, most are the same app).
Today Google launched an app for AdWords, which makes sense since more and more people need to manage their AdWords campaigns via their mobile devices.
Obviously, the most popular Google app for iOS devices remains its YouTube app, along with Google Maps, Google Translate, etc. But there are also important productivity apps, as well, such as for Google AdSense.
This new app, simply called AdWords, should not be confused with an existing app called AdWords Express, which Google launched in the summer of 2014 to help customers build their AdWord ads. This app is designed to help manage campaigns, tracking results, etc.
Here is what Google says can be done with the app:
- Monitor campaign performance like clicks, CTR and CPC
- Update bids and budgets
- Act on suggestions that may help improve campaign performance
- Get real-time alerts and notifications about your billing and ad status
- Call a Google expert
