Meredith announces two new brand licensing partnerships

New licensing agreements for Eating Well and SHAPE with brands Bellisio Foods, Inc. and Apparel Bridge LLC respectively

The magazine publisher Meredith today announced two new brand licensing partnerships: a multi-year licensing partnership with Bellisio Foods, Inc., for the EatingWell brand; the other an agreement with Apparel Bridge LLC for SHAPE Active, an activewear collection designed for women.

Shape magazine MeredithThe deal for SHAPE Active is the first for the brand since Meredith acquired the magazine a year ago.

“Our acquisition of SHAPE extends to all aspects of corporate growth, including licensing,” says Elise Contarsy, Vice President of Meredith Brand Licensing. “We are excited to work with our partner Apparel Bridge to showcase the value of the SHAPE brand beyond print, and bring a line of athleisure clothing to women looking for the perfect combination of performance, comfort and fashion.”

The SHAPE collections are available at DicksSportingGoods.com, kohls.com, and Equinox gyms, with additional retail partners expected, including Amazon.

The EatingWell frozen products will be available for purchase at grocery stores beginning in the fall of 2016. At launch, the EatingWell product line will focus on single-serve frozen entrées. Meredith and Bellisio Foods anticipate future food expansion into products such as multi-serve meals, appetizers, sides, snacks, vegetables, breakfast items, desserts and breads.
