Meredith Corp. unveils first issue of ‘Fit Pregnancy and Baby’
The premiere issue of Fit Pregnancy and Baby magazine was unveiled today by Meredith. The new title combines two titles, Fit Pregnancy and American Baby, and will have a rate base of 2 million.
Meredith picked up Fit Pregnancy when it bought Shape earlier this year from American Media. The acquisitions allowed Meredith to own Fitness magazine, and combine American Baby with Fit Pregnancy to create the new title.
While the title will maintain American Baby’s rate base, it will use Fit Pregnancy’s web address at www.fitpregnancy.com. Right now the site is still promoting subscriptions to American Baby, however. Someone should get on that, don’t you think?
