Dave Huisman named Ad Director of Grand View Media’s Green Group, Jason DeSarle promoted to Group Publisher

Huisman was previously Senior Account Manager at Putman Media, and before that Associate Publisher at Questex Media’s Landscape Management magazine

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – January 8, 2016 — Grand View Media (GVM), a subsidiary of EBSCO Industries, announces new leadership within the Green Group.

Dave Huisman has joined the GVM team as the new Ad Director of the Green Group. In this role, Dave will oversee the GVM Green Group Outside Sales Team. “It is with great pleasure that I join GVM. I feel fortunate to work with such talented and motivated professionals. We will do great things together,” Huisman said. Dave will be based in Tinton Falls, N.J.

Dave comes to GVM with a broad range of experience and deep industry knowledge. Prior to joining GVM, Dave worked at Putman Media and UBM Canon, and Questex Media as Associate Publisher of Landscape Management and Digital Sales Manager – Green Division. Most recently, Dave helped spearhead Putman Media’s content marketing and lead generation programs in the pharmaceutical industry.

In addition to Dave Huisman joining the Grand View Media team, Jason DeSarle has been promoted to the role of Group Publisher for all Green and Agricultural brands under Grand View Media’s Green Group. He has an extensive background in the Green Industry with past experience at Penton Media and North Coast Media. Since joining Grand View Media in 2013, Jason has been instrumental in the growth and success of the Green Group and brings expertise to his new leadership role.
