Former publisher of Rodale’s Organic Life, Ellen Carucci, named Group Publisher at Manifest

Manifest was formed this year by the combination of Manifest Digital and McMURRY/TMG

CHICAGO & NEW YORK – October 15, 2015 — Ellen Carucci, formerly Publisher, Rodale’s Organic Life magazine, has joined Manifest as Group Publisher, Ritz-Carlton Magazine, JWM Magazine and Amtrak’s Media Network, effective September 29, 2015.

Manifest was formed this year by the combination of Manifest Digital and McMURRY/TMG to connect experience design, emerging technology and content to deliver inventive and engaging customer experiences for brands.

In her new position, Carucci will report to Keith Sedlak, Manifest’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of Manifest’s Media Ventures division. “We are very excited to have Ellen join the Manifest team. With her deep multichannel advertising sales experience across luxury, travel and CPG categories, I am confident Ellen will add tremendous value to our sales organization with new thinking and ideas for Ritz-Carlton, JWM (Marriott) and the Amtrak Media Network,” says Sedlak.

Carucci brings more than 20 years of sales and publishing experience from some of the top media companies in the U.S., including Condé Nast, where she oversaw the sales efforts for the Condé Nast Media Group, GQ, Vogue and House & Garden. Most recently, as Publisher of Organic Life, she led the re-launch and re-brand of the magazine across its print and digital platforms, resulting in a 40% upsurge in revenue growth and breaking new advertising categories.

Prior to joining Rodale’s Organic Life, New York, Carucci served as Publisher, Modern Farmer Media, where she collaborated on the launch strategy for the new publication and website.
