Allison Long Lowery, Executive Editor of CookingLight.com, picked to be Director of the new Time Inc. Food Studios
The new food studios in Birmingham, Alabama will officially open in January of 2016
Time Inc. Executive Vice President Evelyn Webster today announced that Allison Long Lowery, currently executive editor of CookingLight.com, has been named Director of the new Time Inc. Food Studios in Birmingham, Alabama.
Lowery, who has a master of English from the University of Alabama, was previously a Managing Editor and Brand Manager at Oxmoor House, the book publishing division Southern Progress (Time bought Southern Progress in 1985). She became Executive Editor at CookingLight.com in early 2010. Loverly leaves her Cooking Light duties October 1.
Time Inc.’s new test kitchen in Birmingham includes a staff of 40 food professionals and will officially open at the start of next year.
