Steven Schwartz joins Dataminr as President of the News Division
The real-time information discovery company also announced that Julio Pekarovic has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer
NEW YORK, NY – September 25, 2015 — Dataminr, the leading real-time information discovery company, today announced the appointment of two new members to its leadership team. Julio Pekarovic joined Dataminr as Chief Financial Officer in August following his role as VP of Finance at Google from 2002 through 2009; and four years as CFO at Quantcast. Steven Schwartz will join Dataminr as President of the News Division. Most recently Steven was Global Managing Director of the Reuters News Agency and Content Solutions Business and previously led the digital publishing businesses for Rolling Stone, US Weekly and Men’s Journal magazines as Wenner Media’s Chief Digital Officer.
