David Nussbaum to leave F+W for America’s Test Kitchen; current COO Jim Ogle takes on CEO role
The CEO of publisher F+W will leaving to take the same title at America’s Test Kitchen. David Nussbaum has led the magazine publishing company since 2008 when it left Penton Media where he was CEO from 2004 to 2007 (when the B2B publisher was sold).
Jim Ogle, who has been COO and CFO, will move up to become CEO. Ogle comes from the business office side of publishing, being a CPA. Ogle came on board at the same time as Nussbaum, having previously been Vice President of Finance for Penton Media. Before that Ogle was Chief Financial Officer at another B2B, Cygnus Business Media.
Over the past few years the publisher of magazines such as Popular Woodworking, to one concentrating on e-commerce. While founded in 1913, the publisher has grown through acquisitions such as Krause Publications in 2002 and Adams Media in 2003.
In 2005 the publisher was acquired by the private equity firm ABRY Partners and in 2012 F+W acquired Colorado-based Interweave, an arts and crafts media company.
