The release of version 2.0 of the Yuzu app from Barnes & Noble College was supposed to be a major revision. But users quickly took to iTunes to tell of crashes.

Yuzu-iconIn fact, the app has really been trashed by users since its release.

Now, an update will hope to correct the major bugs in the learning platform app.

Barnes and Noble Education, formerly the Barnes and Noble College Division, has been officially an independent, publicly traded company since the beginning of the month. This app, still falling under the Barnes & Noble College account, is essentially the reading app for renting eTextbooks, create highlights, notes and bookmarks.

But problems with the app don’t convince customers to use the app and the company’s services, so this update may be an important one for Yuzu:

What’s New in Version 2.0.1

  • Fixed a crash that occurred on authorize after reconnecting to Wi-Fi.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when previous search results remained after the rental expired.
  • Corrected the display of expired rentals in the library.
