Marcelo Ferreira named co-CEO of mobile ad platform RevMob
Ferreira previously served three years as CEO of hellofood Brazil, the Latin American brand for food panda group
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – August 18, 2015 — RevMob, a leading mobile ad platform for global publishers, developers and advertisers, today announced the appointment of Marcelo Ferreira as Co-CEO, bringing a broad range of executive expertise to the firm.
Ferreira will oversee the day-to-day operations of the RevMob mobile ad network as well as lead business development and global expansion of the company. He will share executive management duties with Pedro Jahara, current RevMob CEO.
Ferreira served as CEO of hellofood Brazil for the past three years. Funded by Rocket Internet, hellofood is the Latin American brand for foodpanda group, the world’s largest firm offering online ordering and delivery of local restaurant menu items. Ferreira co-founded the Brazilian-based company and helped grow the business to 120 employees during his tenure.
Prior to hellofood, Ferreira served as a business analyst for A.T. Kearney, a leading global management consulting firm, providing strategic planning and cost control and analysis for clients in the energy, mining, cement and automobile sectors. Prior to this position, he worked as a strategic planning manager at TNT Express, one of the world’s largest express delivery companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in production engineering from the University of São Paulo in Brazil.
