PE owned AllOver Media acquires Ripple Resort Media

If AllOver Media sounds familiar to you it is probably because this is the third time TNM has written about the company this year (actually, they are all releases). In March came word that the compnay had been acquired by the private equity firm Audax Group.

Then earlier this month came word that the company had acquired Prime Point Media, a kiosk advertising company.

Today the company announced that it has acquired Ripple Resort Media, an advertising display company based in Aspen, Colorado. It’s obvious that the PE company is funding an acquisitions strategy, so there may be more to come.

Here is today’s announcement:

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn – July 23, 2015 — AllOver Media, LLC, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity and the largest alternative out-of-home advertising platform in the United States, today announced the purchase of Ripple Resort Media, Inc., a company based in Aspen, Colo., that caters to the top North American winter resorts. AOM continues to rapidly expand its targeted and contextual platform to help advertisers reach specific audiences at ideal times.

Ripple Resort Media has brought together premier resorts in North America with their patented MapLinks map and advertising display system. MapLinks provides resort guests with a convenient map of the resort while they ride the chairlift and at the same time engages these consumers in a captive environment with relevant and targeted advertising.

The entire Ripple Resort Media team will remain in tact at its base of operations in Aspen.
