Lisa Strattan, publisher of GateHouse Media’s SouthCoast titles, will become publisher to Wicked Local
Wicked Local is a network of websites that covers the Eastern Massachusetts region
RANDOLPH, Mass. – June 10, 2015 — GateHouse Media New England today announced that Lisa Strattan, publisher of the SouthCoast titles including The Herald News in Fall River, The Taunton Daily Gazette, and O Jornal, will take on the newly created role of SVP/Executive Editor and Publisher of Wicked Local.
This change is part of GateHouse Media New England’s focused efforts to re-launch and re-position the Wicked Local franchise toward fulfilling their vision of creating the most relevant and ubiquitous brand of hyper-local news and information websites in the region. As Executive Editor and Publisher of Wicked Local, Lisa will work collaboratively with the Regional Publishers and directly with the local news management teams to continue the organization’s transition to a fully developed multimedia news and information organization, and lead the company’s efforts toward growing their Wicked Local network of hyper-local web sites to market prominence.
