Michael Carroll moves from the NYT to Hearst’s Town & Country as associate publisher, advertising
Carroll began his career on the client side as director of advertising & media relations at Air France
NEW YORK, NY – June 5, 2015 – Town & Country today announced that Michael Carroll has been named associate publisher, advertising. Carroll comes to Town & Country from The New York Times where he served as director of travel advertising since 2013. Carroll will begin his new role on June 29th and will report to Jennifer Levene Bruno, vice president, chief revenue officer, Town & Country.
Carroll began his career on the client side as director of advertising & media relations at Air France. After eight years he transitioned into the role of national sales manager at the Harvard Business Review, one of the world’s leading publications for affluent thought-leaders. Three years later, he joined The Wall Street Journal, where he first led the travel team and later the cross-platform luxury goods and financial services teams, in addition to leadership responsibilities for WSJ Magazine. Earlier in his career, Carroll served as publisher of Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel.

Carroll received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and currently resides in New York City.
