InternetRetailing Media buys two B2B magazines from Spice Court

Magazine acquisition by the London B2B follows the sale of its events, Internet Retailing Conference and Internet Retailing Expo, in January

InternetRetailing Media announced that they had acquired two B2B magazines: Fulfilment & e.logistics and m.logistics from their publisher, Spice Court Publications. Earlier this year, London-based InternetRetailing Media announced that it had sold its events division to Clarion Events.

The move is the opposite of what is normally see in the U.S., where magazine properties are traded like baseball cards, while events drive the revenue growth.

“We are delighted to see our magazines moving to such a natural home and we are confident that InternetRetailing Media will evolve the brand and expand its readership into new international markets,” said Peter Rowlands, editorial director and co-founder of the two sold magazines. “The new owners aspire to the same editorial values as ourselves, and we are confident that their eDelivery publication will pick up the baton that we have run with all these years, ensuring that the spirit of Fulfilment & e.logistics lives on.”

“I’d like to personally thank Peter and his team for entrusting us with Fulfilment & e.logistics and m.logistics and we wish them every success with their new business endeavors,” said Mark Pigou, director of InternetRetailing Media.

Fulfilment & e.logistics has a circulation of around 4,000, while m.logistics claims a circulation around 4,500.
