DENVER, CO – January 29, 2015 – App Studio announced today its partnership with Appboy, the Marketing Automation for Apps platform that helps brands increase mobile engagement, avoid app abandonment and maximize the lifetime value of users. Through the partnership, App Studio users can take advantage of customer segmentation, tailored push messaging and multivariate testing in order to take app engagement to the next level.
“Nurturing mobile relationships and cultivating ongoing user engagement is more important than ever to the success and longevity of an app,” said Elliott Lack, App Studio Product Manager. “In partnership with Appboy we offer App Studio users access to the type of marketing automation services – from communication tactics to user analysis – that can dramatically improve consumer engagement.”
In addition to engagement and nurturing features, the partnership offers App Studio users market segmentation based on any data point, allowing for the creation and delivery of targeted messages to specific segments. With Appboy, App Studio users can also analyze how consumers interact with apps. For example, multivariate testing allows mobile marketers to test message variations to determine which generate the maximum amount of conversions. Combined with Appboy’s campaign retargeting feature, mobile marketers are able to run more meaningful and productive campaigns.
Mark Ghermezian, Co-Founder and CEO for Appboy said, “To manage a successful app it is crucial to understand who interacts with the app and how. We help brands do this by segmenting users based on demographic, social, behavioral and in-app purchase data. Armed with this knowledge, brands can create highly targeted campaigns that employ multi-channel communication channels, such as push notifications, which are known to increase engagement. We’re excited to partner with App Studio to extend these services and more to app designers around the world.”
