Subscription eBook service Scribd raises new $22M round of funding

The website TechCrunch is reporting that Scribd, the subscription eBook service, has raised an additional $22 million in funding. The new round of funding, backed by Khosla Ventures, has Khosla partner Keith Rabois joining the company’s board.

Often compared to Netflix, but servicing a far smaller market, Scribd charges readers $8.99 to read an unlimited number of eBooks each month.
