Apple wins the Christmas gift giving season with over 51% of device activations

The Yahoo owned website Flurry reported that Apple may have been the big winner this year as over 51 percent of all device activations were Apple products.

“Since the beginning of the mobile revolution, Christmas Day has seen the highest number of new device activations and app installs each year, and 2014 was no exception,” Jarah Euston wrote.


If an improving an economy, shoppers apparently believed that buying other brands may be frowned upon. We’ll know more when Apple reports its Q1 2015 earnings in late January.
