The team behind FILTER Magazine launches new web property, FLOODmagazine.com

New website to core music, television, film, art, food and travel

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – October 22, 2014FLOOD, a new media property from the publishing and editorial creative behind FILTER Magazine, announced its official launch today. FLOOD Founder and Publisher Alan Sartirana made the announcement.

Exceeding the high benchmark set by FILTER, FLOOD covers a broader scope of the cultural landscape in collaboration with top entertainers and creative thinkers, pushing the conversation forward and keeping their readers engaged and informed. At launch, FLOOD’s editorial coverage is presented in three verticals: Music, Film & TV and Art & Culture. Under each vertical, FLOOD will report daily news, deliver engaging media, offer intelligent editorial profiles, and publish thought-provoking and entertaining interviews.

The Film & TV section looks through the lens with directors, goes unscripted with writers, and goes behind the scenes with actors and actresses. Art & Culture encompasses a variety of diverse topics including hitting the road for travel, finding a palette in art, plugging in for tech, reading up on literature, sampling food and drink, and more. Additionally, FLOOD will cover live events around the world, supplemented with top quality photography and video recaps.

Following in FILTER’s well heeled footsteps, FLOOD will also be returning to SXSW and Coachella in 2015, expanding SXSW activations to include four days and nights of events at Cedar Street with KCRW Broadcasting live onsite and much more to be announced in the coming months. Additionally, FLOOD will host events at Sundance to support the new Film & TV vertical.

Boasting a cutting-edge website designed by Funkhaus, FLOOD content will be presented to readers on a visually stunning and user-friendly platform. FLOOD Magazine is the in-house publication of ANTHEMIC, a full-service global creative agency headed up industry stalwart and FILTER co-founder Alan Sartirana.
