Digital marketing company, Conversant, has appointed Jim Rund chief revenue officer for its media business

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – September 30, 2014 — Conversant, Inc., the leader in personalized digital marketing, today announced that it has appointed Jim Rund as chief revenue officer for its media business. In this role, Rund will lead the company’s strategy for long-term profitable revenue generation across Conversant’s digital media business, and will drive a unified go-to-market structure for the organization.

Prior to Conversant, Rund was executive vice president at Catalina, where he drove extraordinary growth for a variety of clients. In that role he pioneered the development of data-driven insights to architect business strategies, built media campaigns, and drove sustained revenue growth in a variety of categories. He led new customer acquisition efforts that included Target and Rite-Aid, integrated a mobile acquisition into the core business, and participated in the recent sale of Catalina to Berkshire Partners. Prior to Catalina, he worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles at General Mills.

Rund has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois, and will be based in the Company’s Chicago office.
