Guests of The Peninsula Manila and Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur now have access to digital newspapers and magazines via PressReader service
The digital newsstand, PressReader, announced that The Peninsula Manila in the Philippines will now offer its digital all-you-can-read newspaper and magazine service to guests. The British Columbia-based company also recently announced that guests staying at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur would also have access to the service, as well.
“PressReader offers guests access to a portable newsstand where they can get full editions of their favorite international newspapers or magazines downloaded to their own device,” said Igor Smirnoff, chief commercial officer for PressReader. “Guests can wake up and read their hometown paper, use amazing features like audio narration for news while getting ready, and instantly translate stories to follow world news with global perspectives. PressReader keeps them connected while away from home.”
PressReader offers digital versions of publications from more than 100 countries and in 60 languages including The Manila Times, The Washington Post, Business Traveller, The Guardian, and others. Guests connect to the hotel’s Wi-Fi service, go to PressReader.com using their Web browser, or the free PressReader app, and choose the desired country, language, category and publication. The service is available in all Wi-Fi accessible areas, with reach throughout the entire hotel property.
