Rogers Publishing makes cuts, eliminating three top editorial positions
The largest Canadian publisher, Rogers Publishing, part of the media giant Rogers Communications, eliminated three top editorial positions earlier this week, according to the Financial Post.
As is often the case, the layoffs were explained as somehow making the company better.
“As part of our new Rogers 3.0 plan, we are making changes to our teams to help us become a more agile company and to position us for growth,” the company announced in an email.
The editor’s positions were consolidated at titles such as Canadian Health & Lifestyle, Cosmetics and Made for Men.
