Press Release:

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – July 17, 2014 — Aysling today announced the appointment of Pat Schutte to Vice President of PR Strategy, effective immediately. Aysling is a provider of Adobe and WoodWing digital publishing software solutions and digital media production services for publishers, retailers, corporations, and agencies around the world. As Vice President of PR Strategy, Schutte will be responsible for developing a set of PR-related marketing offerings as the foundation of a new in-house marketing agency at the company.

Schutte-Aysling-smSchutte, who founded High Profile Public Relations (HPPR) in 2003, enjoyed a solid run of agency success working with a wide range of clients, including Chrysler/Dodge, Jeep, Ford, Monster Beverage, Source Interlink, Clear Channel, Live Nation, Feld Motor Sports, National Promoters Group, Advanstar and Vail Resorts. More recently Schutte worked on a consulting basis with Aysling, which led company CEO Patrick Becker to suggest a merger between Aysling and HPPR and its clients.

“Reputation and results allowed HPPR to succeed as a PR agency for more than a decade. In teaming with Aysling, its established team of professionals and the Adobe Experience Manager platform, HPPR’s clients will now enjoy added layers of digital marketing technology to enhance the reach far beyond traditional areas of PR,” said Schutte. “In addition, Aysling offers me, personally, an incredible opportunity to grow as a professional while at the same time continuing to service my existing clients and Aysling’s – all under the Aysling banner.”

From editing Aysling’s website to conferring on the company’s acquisition of The Ann magazine, Schutte’s past newspaper experience would prove to be a valuable asset to the digital solutions company. Beyond that, according to Becker, his successful agency experience – both as an employee and as an owner – bodes well as Aysling looks to expand its client base.

“Pat Schutte and HPPR have consulted in the past with Aysling on numerous assignments and I strongly feel he is the perfect addition as we develop a full-service agency within Aysling,” said Becker. “Pat brings to the table an established clientele and is already familiar with Aysling’s client base and products. His energy and creative approach to promoting people, products and events will be well-received here at Aysling as we continue to grow as a digital software solutions company… and beyond.”
