Hearst Magazines UK names Becky Gee Publisher for luxury lifestyle brand, Red
Gee was previously International Fashion Director at Grazia, and before that at Time Inc. as Fashion Manager at InStyle Magazine
London, England – June 16, 2014 — Hearst Magazines UK, Hearst Corporation’s principal business in the UK, announces the appointment of Becky Gee in the newly created role of Publisher for the leading luxury lifestyle brand, Red.
Currently Strategic Director Fashion and Retail at Grazia and Grazia. co.uk, Becky will join Red on August 19. She will lead the Red brand working closely with Editor-in-Chief Sarah Bailey and Group Publishing Director, Ella Dolphin to drive commercial revenues and develop new revenue streams. In her new role, Becky will also focus on strategic partnerships to accelerate the Red brand.
With an extensive career across fashion magazines, Becky joined Grazia as International Fashion Director at launch and was a key ingredient in the commercial success during the last 10 years. Prior to Grazia, Becky was at Time Inc, joining as Fashion Manager of InStyle Magazine. Becky began her advertising career at Business Traveller Magazine before joining IPC Magazines Women’s general interest team, moving quickly to IPC’s joint venture Marie Clarie as advertising manager.
