Theresa Larson promoted to general manager at the Lodi News-Sentinel
Larson, who joined the newspaper in 1997, was previously administrative manager
The Lodi News-Sentinel, a family owned newspaper in Lodi, California, has named Theresa Larson its general manager. Larson was previously administrative manager at the paper.
Larson will become part of the three person management team which includes Publisher Marty Weybret and Editor Rich Hanner. Larson’s role now add circulation and mailroom responsibilities to credit, accounting, human resources and plant safety operations.
“Like many papers, we’ve used tried-and-true approaches to the challenge of gaining and keeping readers,” Weybret said in the post announcing the promotion. “Theresa is going to break that mold. She will bring a real sense of innovation to these areas, including both print and online.”
