Apple issues updates for Mavericks and iTunes
If you are a Mac owner you have a couple of updates waiting for you, one of which will require a restart (I know, hate those).
Apple has updated OS X 10.9, or Mavericks. The update brings the OS up to version 10.9.3 and involves improved 4K display support. The update also allows for the ability to sync contacts and calendars between a Mac and iOS device using a USB connection.
The update to iTunes brings the software up to version 11.2 – and, yes, it is still a bloated piece of software. The new update involves podcasts.
These updates are pretty minor and nothing like a full revision of both the Mac and iOS software that usually comes in the fall.
Next month will feature the Worldwide Developers Conference starting on June 2 where developers will get previews of much of what Apple has in mind for later in the year.
