ReadyCast Mobile App uses iPhones, iPads, iPods for live streaming video
ORLANDO, Fla., – April 17, 2014 — Right Brain Media is excited to announce the launch of their latest product, the ReadyCast Mobile App, available for free in the iTunes Store.
ReadyCast allows mobile users to broadcast live events in real time from their iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to another individual or audience anywhere in the world.
“ReadyCast makes mobile broadcasting easy,” said Deke Hooper, CIO at Right Brain Media. “It makes streaming really convenient – for anyone – because of the automated provisioning that our system offers. All of the API calls that are available help to streamline the process for users.”
The available API calls make it quick and easy for the average user to log in to ReadyCast on their mobile device and begin live streaming in minutes.
ReadyCast is great for business seminars, tradeshows, sporting events, and church services that have a need for mobile live streaming. The ReadyCast App provides an added level of flexibility to the streaming services Right Brain Media provides to customers “on-the-go.”
The United States Specialty Association (USSSA), the largest amateur sports organization in the country, is one of the first organizations to implement the use of ReadyCast. USSSA sports directors are able to live stream their games using the app on their iPhones and iPod Touches. The auto archive feature of ReadyCast also allows these sports directors to record and save their games on the provider’s server for video on demand (VOD) playback.
An approved ReadyCast provider is necessary in order to stream from the app. Today’s approved providers include Mirror Image, RBM.tv and USSSA. If interested in becoming an approved provider, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
