Rory Strunk named President of AIM’s Warren Miller Entertainment and re-launched AIM Studios
Strunk is the founder of RSN (Resorts Sports Network), World of Adventure Sports on NBC, and Global Content Partners
Boulder, CO – January 16, 2014 — Active Interest Media (AIM, www.aimmedia.com) announced today the appointment of Rory Strunk as the new president of Warren Miller Entertainment and the rebranded AIM Studios Powered by Warren Miller.
Strunk has spent almost three decades creating and partnering with multi-platform properties in the snowsports, action sports, and non-endemic markets. He’s the founder of RSN (Resorts Sports Network), World of Adventure Sports on NBC, and Global Content Partners, which created custom content for such clients as Jeep, Red Bull, VW and Cabela’s.
“Rory’s 24/7 energy and creativity are just what we need in a visionary leader to shape and ignite the evolution of Warren Miller Entertainment and AIM Studios,” says Andy Bigford, Mountain Group vice president and general manager, adding that Strunk will also play a key role with NASTAR, which AIM acquired along with Warren Miller Entertainment from the Bonnier Mountain Group in May 2013.
