Mitch Rotter joins Evolve Media as SVP of Marketing
Rotter joins Evolve from Break Media where he served as Executive Vice President of Programming
LOS ANGELE, Calif. – December 3, 2013 — Evolve Media LLC., an integrated digital media company focused on enthusiast publishing, announced today that digital publishing and creative veteran Mitch Rotter has joined as Senior Vice President of Marketing for the company. Based out of Evolve’s Los Angeles headquarters, Rotter will be leading Evolve’s Marketing initiatives including Integrated Marketing for the company’s vertical publishing divisions CraveOnline Media and TotallyHer Media.
Rotter joins Evolve from Break Media where he served as Executive Vice President of Programming. While at Break, Rotter oversaw all editorial properties, Creative Lab, Break Media’s award winning in-house video creative agency and production unit, and the company’s YouTube strategy and operations. He garnered huge success with the launch of several YouTube channels including ScreenJunkies and AWEme Channel, and hit webseries including Honest Trailers, Man At Arms, and Speakeasy. Rotter also created and launched large scale branded entertainment campaigns and editorial programs for a variety of Fortune 100 clients. Prior to Break Media, Rotter was Senior Vice President of Marketing & Product Development at Universal Music Group Distribution where he led digital and physical retail marketing, spearheaded the launch of UMG’s direct-to-fan e-Commerce business, and developed digital products for the company’s multi-platinum recording artists and labels.
