UK papers see circ declines moderate, the Guardian and Observer record some gains
The September UK ABCs (Audit Bureau of Circulations) are out and there is a little of good news for a few papers as they were able to record month-over-month circulation gains. The Guardian and Observer recorded increases, as did the Sunday Telegraph.
September did not see dramatic decreases, as previous months had. The Daily Mail, which has been in a bit of controversy lately over its stories concerning the late father of Ed Miliband, the Labour Party chief, did not see any profits from their efforts – though their declines were also pretty modest.
