Kristen Schultz named Dollard Director of Brand Strategy and Digital Project Development at Yoga Journal

San Francisco, CA, (October 7, 2013) — Yoga Journal today announced that Kristen Schultz Dollard has joined as Director of Brand Strategy and Digital Project Development. In this new position, Schultz Dollard, who completed a 200-hour registered yoga training with Alan Finger in 2004 and Baron Baptiste in 2009, will be responsible for expressions of the Yoga Journal brand across many different channels. She will oversee online and offline Yoga Journal experiences including print, digital, mobile, social and events. Notably, she is spearheading the re-launch of the Yoga Journal website now underway.
Prior to joining Yoga Journal, Schultz Dollard was Digital Director of Conde Nast’s SELF Magazine, where she grew site traffic and unique users over 100% year over year, earning an ASME nomination for Digital General Excellence. In her four year tenure at Rodale Inc, she launched Women’s Health Magazine and served as Digital Editorial Director of Rodale International, where she brought to market Women’s Health’s Magazine internationally while handling the content strategy and digital growth plans for Men’s Health, Runner’s World, and Prevention. While serving as the Editorial Director of Rodale’s iYogalife.com and Yogalife Magazine, she grew Rodale’s yoga audience to 250,000 registered-users in one year. Most recently, Schultz Dollard was Associate Vice President of Ecommerce at Christie’s, the fine art auction house. She began her career at ABC News’ “Good Morning America.”
Alongside Ayurvedic physician John Douillard, Schultz Dollard is the author of The Yoga Body Diet: Slim & Sexy (Without the Stress), which has sold over 25,000 copies.

Schultz Dollard earned her B.A. from New York University, where she majored in Women’s Studies and Journalism.
