SmartBrief says it will double the size of its sales team
Well, it’s nice to hear that someone is hiring. SmartBrief, the publisher of e-newsletters for businesses and organization says it will double the size of its sales teams. Here is the press release which, sadly, does not mention the actual number of sales people to be hired (if they currently have only one…):
WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Digital publisher SmartBrief, Inc., is increasing the size of its sales team at all levels, from inside sales to industry publishers. The additions will allow SmartBrief to respond to accelerated demand for its suite of highly targeted digital advertising products.
“As we continue to expand both the number of subscribers and publications, advertising opportunities grow right along with them. We’re experiencing strong interest in our products and services, and feel that now is the right time to add to our team,” said Rick Stamberger, president and CEO of SmartBrief.
In the first two quarters of 2013, SmartBrief has significantly increased the number and scope of its publishing partnerships. The company also has launched new products and business units offering marketers ways to reach its highly sought-after audience of business decision-makers. SmartBrief launched a new featured content advertising product, a content-driven website and a number of content marketing products within the first half of this year.
Stamberger added: “We continue to benefit from the growth in digital marketing and extensive demand for relevant content. The new hires will better position us to meet these growing needs.”
