Cygnus Business Media sells Agriculture Group to the American Farm Bureau Federation

FORT ATKINSON, Wis. – August 5, 2013 – Cygnus Business Media today announced that it has sold its Agriculture Group to the American Farm Bureau Federation, an independent, non-governmental, voluntary organization based in Washington D.C., for an undisclosed amount.

The transaction was handled by Corporate Solutions, Inc., and was finalized on July 30. All employees were retained by the Farm Bureau.

It is composed of five tradeshows, including four of the industry’s largest, producer-focused outdoor and indoor shows in America: Minnesota Farmfest, Dakotafest, Amarillo Farm and Ranch Show, Northern Illinois Farm Show, and the IDEAg-branded Interconnectivity Conference. The business also publishes FEED & GRAIN magazine and Case IH Farm Forum magazine, and associated digital content properties.
